Privacy policy

Last updated: 9 October 2026

This policy explains what information northern-tables.com ("The Northern Table", "we", "us") collects when you visit the site, and how we use it.

Information you give us

If you email us, whether directly or through the form on our contact page, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. The contact form doesn't send anything to our servers: it opens your own email app with the message filled in, and nothing is sent until you press send there.

We use what you send only to reply to you and, where you've pointed out a correction, to update our reviews. We don't add you to a mailing list and we don't sell or share your details.

Information collected automatically

Like almost every website, our hosting and network providers keep standard server logs: your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. These logs are used to keep the site secure and running and are deleted on a rolling basis.

The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes these requests on our behalf to protect the site and serve it quickly. You can read Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Advertising and Google Ads

We advertise the site through Google Ads, and every page loads the Google tag (gtag.js) so we can measure which ads bring visitors here and show our ads to people who have visited before. When a page loads, Google receives your IP address, browser and device details, the page you're viewing, and whether you came from one of our ads, and may set or read cookies in your browser.

We see this information only as totals and reports in our Google Ads account, not as details about you personally. Google processes it, possibly outside Canada, under its own privacy policy. You can turn off personalized ads in Google's My Ad Center, or block third-party cookies in your browser.

Cookies

We don't set cookies for our own purposes. The cookies on this site come from Google Ads. Our cookie policy lists each one, what it's for and how long it lasts.

Third-party websites

Our reviews may mention resorts and other organizations. If you visit their websites, their own privacy policies apply.

How long we keep information

We keep emails only as long as needed to deal with your message, then delete them.

Your rights

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and similar laws, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days.

Children

This site is about casino resorts and is meant for adults of legal gaming age. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page.
